The hills of Langa Doglianese are the southernmost part of the western Langa. They are westerly delimited by the Tanaro River, northerly border with
the Barolo production area and to the south and the east with the high Langa. Thanks to their boundary position and the highest average altitude,
they have the privilege of a unique landscape, like a balcony overlooking the plain and the arc of Alps at one side and the Langa of Barolo on the
other side. Dolcetto Wine has been cultivated for years on these hills of ours: on these lands, in a particular micro climate, this tendril has
found its ideal habitat. The years and the harvests coming one after the other brought with them the tradition of an antique tendril, the love and
care for the wine that it produces and the ambition to always improve its quality. The hills of Langa Doglianese and Dolcetto wine have been all
along involved in a difficult relationship: on one side the great sacrifices, the hard work on steep hills, the care of a demanding tendril, on the
other the satisfaction for a wine of great quality with an undoubted character and identity: just the intense red rubin almost bluish colour makes
us proud of the job done, the clear fragrances of fruit, violet, sometimes more complex of brushwood and the aromatic ones give us wonderful
sensations, and the full flavour, rich, slightly of almonds at the end, with a long persistence in mouth, makes us forgetting all it cost to produce
it.
From the great love for this wine and the ambition of the producers who have always tried to improve its quality is born DOGLIANI DOCG.
